TPT Seller Challenge, Week 2 - Dare to Dream

It's week two of the TPT Seller Challenge! This week, I'm sharing some of my dreams and hopes for the future!

Start a family: This has been a difficult journey for my husband and I lately. We had a set-back recently which is taking it's toll. Please keep us in your thoughts as we continue on the road to our own little family.

Help & inspire teachers: I created my store to help and inspire other music teachers. I also wanted to help teachers in my building. This fall, I'm presenting a workshop at our state music teacher's convention about some things I'm doing in my classroom to help with 1:1 and student independence. More on that to come!

Pay off debt: Who doesn't want to pay off debt? I'll keep dreaming....ha!

Build my TPT store: I'm almost to 200 followers! Ya-hoo! I want to continue to reach out to others through networking, social media, etc. This will help me grow my store, but also my friends and resources that I can share with others.

What are your dreams for the future?

TpT Seller Challenge - Week 1 Makeover Madness

Welcome to Week 1 of the TPT Seller Challenge! This is a month long of challenges to encourage growth as a seller on TPT. The first one is all about makeovers.

I finally finished my first set of music classroom decor. Wow - it was a lot more time consuming than I thought! Our building is focusing on goods sportsmanship, community and being awesome learners as a team. So, I decided to create a sports themed decor set called "Let's Have a Ball in Music!" I created it first and then posted it, realizing that the cover pages were BORING.

This was a great opportunity to complete my first week challenge! I eventually revamped all of my covers, 6 products in total. Here is a sample of the before and afters:

Each file comes separately or you can purchase the whole bundle at a discount! I've attached the bundle below, with a link to the different files. See you next week for challenge #2!

Five Favorite Pins of June

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!
Wheww, the kids were getting antsy those last few days. But, summer has finally arrived!

It's time for Mrs. Miracle's monthly linky party. Here are my "Five Favorite Pins of June:"

#1: Beatboxing Curriculum
My students love Incredibox. I've talked about it before here. I'd love to dive more into concept of beatboxing with my older students, especially near the end of the year. I've also wanted to check out resources from the Fun Music Company for awhile now.

#2: Silent Instrument Game
I love this game! It is great for testing time and to get the instruments out for introductions or review. Can't wait to use this gem!

#3: Cat Poster
The kitty in this poster looks exactly like my Eleanor. Plus, it sums up the way I feel sometimes, even though I know my job is to bring music to all of my students.

#4: "It's Time to Begin" with hand clapping
I love Kristin's ideas! This is another great end-of-the-year song, complete with a fun hand clapping piece to add a little extra. Check out the video on the pin:

#5: Moses Goes to a Concert
If you follow me regularly, either blog or TPT, you'll know I LOVE children's literature in music class. This book looks great for the beginning of the year, before a concert or a field trip. Plus, it has a fun little explanation to introduce listening.
