About Me


Christine Skog is an elementary music teacher from southwest Iowa. Currently, she teaches lower elementary music as well as accompanying and assisting with high school and middle school performances. In her career, Mrs. Skog has taught all grade levels, including choir and musical productions. In addition to her classroom experiences, Christine has taught continuing education classes at the state level and smaller workshops throughout Iowa. These have included topics such as music technology, children's literature in music and guided listening with movement. Currently, Mrs. Skog resides in Atlantic, Iowa with her husband, daughter and cat.

Christine is the author of Elementary Etudes, a website for music educators that provides resources, ideas, lessons and other content to utilize in the music classroom. In addition, you can find digital resources for purchase and download at her Teachers Pay Teachers store.
