Wordless Wednesday!

I'm linking up to a new blog party this week. "Wordless Wednesdays" is all about posting a picture and inviting your followers to comment with their ideas. Please check out Sugar and Spice for more "Wordless Wednesday" blog posts!

Well, it's almost the end of the year and the kids are all full of excitement! Here, we are dancing and moving with ribbon wands. Here's my picture and question:

How do you keep your students engaged and excited about learning during the last few days of school?

Please comment below with your ideas - thanks! :)

  1. We do a unit called Summer Fun. There are tons of crafts, dances, and snacks the kids make/do to keep them super busy. It is a lot of work for us teachers but definitely worth it since they stay engaged!

    1. That sounds like a ton of fun! I want to collaborate more with our classroom teachers with units, especially during this crazy time of the year. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I do different things each year, but it always involves a lot of student choice for their very last day in music. Most classes choose to play Music Freeze, while others want to see clips from Fantasia 2000 or another favorite musical.

    1. My kids love Freeze Dance on the last day, too! We are big into student centered learning, so choice and voice is a great way to get them involved and enjoying themselves. Thanks for sharing :)
